About me

Hi, I'm Francis.

a calm presence behind the camera

I started glass because I wanted wedding films that feel as clear and calm as the day itself. I keep my kit small and my style simple, so I never get in the way.

On the day I won't keep you away from your guests or ask you to fake a moment. Instead I'll catch the things you might miss: your nan's face during the vows, the best man's nerves, and the questionable dance moves after dinner.

Before the wedding I'm always happy to chat on the phone or meet for a coffee to go through your plans.

Do you need a wedding video?

Photos show how your day looked. A film keeps how it sounded and moved: the vows in your own voices, the speeches, the cheer as you walk back down the aisle. It's the one thing couples say they'd book again without a second thought.

Videographers are often one of the last suppliers booked, and the best dates go quickly. If a film matters to you, get in touch early.

Good questions

How far will you travel?

Travel within 50 miles is included. Further afield is no problem; I'll add a small travel fee to your quote.

How do I book my date?

Send an enquiry with your date and venue. If I'm free, a 25% deposit and a signed contract secure the date.

Do you record the vows and speeches?

Yes. I use small wireless microphones on the couple and officiant, plus a recorder on the speaker system for speeches.

How long until we get our film?

Usually 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your package and the time of year.

Can we choose the music?

You can suggest songs and I'll find licensed tracks with a similar feel, so your film can be shared online without being taken down.
